Cowboy 200 Race

On November 5th-8th The Cowboy 200 race will be taking place. The Cowboy 200 is a 200 mile foot race from Norfolk to Valentine. People from all over the country will be racing including several from NE! The race starts at 7 a.m. on the 5th at Tah-ha-zouka park in Norfolk. There are several aid stations along the route with one here in Tilden at the fire station manned by local volunteers. Runners are expected to come through anytime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. While there is not a manned aid station in Meadow Grove, there will still be an unmanned station right off the cowboy trail at the 2nd street intersection if folks from MG want to cheer on runners from there. This is a unique event and a great opportunity for us to show our community spirit. Anyone who can, please come out and cheer on the runners!
