Tilden-Meadow Grove Summer Ball Program is a non-profit organization run by several volunteers in the local communities. The program averages 10 teams each summer, ranging from T-Ball to Ponies, (ages 5 to 14).
Current members on the ball board include Marty Werner, Samantha Rutjens, Ethan Planer, Ben Molhoff, Rachelle Lyall and Joel Eisenhauer. They are always looking for new volunteers or members to help out with the program.
Tilden offers two fields in town where the games are played:
- Horseshoe Bend Memorial Field: Go south out of Tilden on HWY 45 until you reach Eighth Steet. Turn west on Eighth Street. You will drive directly to the field parking lot.
- Richie Ashburn Field: Turn west at the four-way stop on Main Street. Then turn north immediately after the city pool and before the bridge.
