Yin is a practice that brings the body and mind into balance. Postures are generally seated or lying on the mat and held for extended periods of time (3-5 min). Yin targets the connective tissues of the body to relax muscles and still the mind. A regular Yin practice promotes and increases flexibility, range of motion, self compassion, stress resiliency and mindfulness.
